fourth. Her brothers and sisters are called Carolyn, Erma, Cecil, Carl
Ellan and Vaughn.

father who was known as the 'Million Dollar Voice'. Her father was
called Reverend C.L. Franklin and he was the pastor of the New Bethel
Church in Detroit.
